Past Presidents have risen to “lead”, “Govern” or even to “Serve” America but not the Obamessiah. He’s too good for all that. According to Obama’s aide Valerie Jarrett who appears to also be a member of the Chicago Political Machine.

The co-chair of Barack Obama’s Transition Team, Valerie Jarrett, appeared on Meet the Press this weekend and used, shall we say, an interesting word to described what she thinks Barack Obama will be doing in January when he’s officially sworn into office. She told Tom Brokaw that Obama will be ready to “rule” on day one. It’s a word that reflects the worst fears that people have for Obama the “arrogant,” the “messiah,” that imagines he’s here to “rule” instead of govern.
Jarret told Brokaw that “given the daunting challenges that we face, it’s important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one.”
Last time I checked, we fought a Revolution beginning in 1776 and declared Independence to eliminate those who ”Ruled” us and chose instead a system of Government, a Democratic Republic that is “OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, AND FOR THE PEOPLE”. Something is seriously eating at me and giving me a gut feeling that this was not a slip of the tongue on part of Jarret and Team Obama. I have this bad feeling she said what she meant and Obama means what she says…..To Rule.
I think that the Election of Barack Obama as POTUS, is a clear sign of the end of Western Civilization as we know it today, afterall, Hitler was elected by a democratic government, and let’s not forget Chavez and HAMAS. Just something to think about. It’s becoming painfully clear that Obama is capable of doing more damage in 2 yrs then Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton did in 12 yrs combined. G-d help us all, we are totally screwed!
I refuse to submit to being Ruled by anyone. As stated before, I will give President Elect Obama no more and no less the respect that was given by his koolaid drinking Obots to President Bush the last 8 yrs. Obama can put that in his crack pipe and smoke it!

I completely agree with the spirit of your post. In fact, I posted on this myself. But can we stop spreading the lie that Hitler was “elected”? This is simply not true. The people of Germany never elected Hitler to anything. He was appointed by Hinderburg after losing a close election for president and then used political triangulation to gain supreme power.
We’re not going to win this battle unless we make sure we get every single detail right.
