Over the past several years, I’ve had fun participating in the annual Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute calendar. CBLPI is a terrific organization run by tireless Michelle Easton, who leads the group in keeping Clare Boothe Luce’s legacy alive and “reaching out to women all over the nation to prepare them for effective conservative leadership.” This year, the CBLPI team picked a “Pretty in Mink” theme for the calendar
Why is it the libtards are so f’n eager to protect animals, insects, reptiles, and trees but cringe at the mere thought of protecting an unborn human or liberating enslaved people from murderous Dictators? I have my own campaign I’m launching this holiday season.
I’m still for clubbing seals in exchange for a warm pair of mittens to go with my Ivory Handled Cane, but would gladly trade a baby seal for a chance to punch Nancy Pelosi in her botox mug.
Hell, I’ll take…
Any freaking day of the week. Liberal women resemble something that was buried inside of an old shoe beneath a pile of dog shit if you ask me. I wouldn’t fuck them with Bill Clinton’s dick.
I think it’s funny that when Obama lies on his ad’s the Obamedia and Zombies slurping koolaid at the Fountain of O simply ignore his lies and take his word as Gospel, But when McCain exposes Obama for what he really is he is called a Racist. Fact- the Democrats are the leading the Nation with the most corrupt Congress ever led by Nancy Pelosi and her Gang of Idiots. Our economy is in the toilet because of of their inaction with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac because King Bunghole Barney Frank and Soros’ puppet Obama were too busy lining their pockets with cash from these now failed organizations and now we taxpayers have to pay for it out of our pockets. Fact- John Mccain WARNED that they would bring about problems, but the Democrats threw up every road block possible to stop any action from stopping this runaway train.
Team McCain knows that this will be a big problem for voters looking for a change in Washington. Raines, and Obama’s other Fannie Mae advisor Jim Johnson, are exactly the kind of CEOs and big shots that Obama usually demonizes on the campaign trail. They took exorbitant salaries and ran Fannie into the ground.
Here are a few articles of interest about Raines from the Washington Post:
March 2005: Perverse executive pay forced Raines out of his job.
May 2006: Extensive fraud at Fannie Mae under Raines’ direction, generating over $50 million in bonuses for nonexistent growth.
April 2008: Raines gives up $24 million in future payouts to avoid criminal charges in Fannie Mae fraud, although most of that was in worthless options; he pays $2 million in cash.
McCain/Palin needs to keep up the momentum on this issue and continue to hit Obama & the Democrats hard, fast & frequently on the collapse of Fannie & Freddie.
This is the Vets for Freedom ad which highlights Barack Obama’s refusal to admit that the surge in Iraq was successful and that our troops brought America a victory in the War on Islamic Terrorism, but alas, Barack Obama would rather win an election then win a war.
I guess that’s why I’ll be voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin in November. They put country before politics unlike the Defeatists in the very French like Democratic Party.
This is the ad that Barack Hussein Obama doesn’t want you to see. So much so that the Messiah of the Democratic Party is trying to strongarm the Dept of Justice into investigating the American Issues Project to block them from exposing his ties to Domestic Terrorists and is putting pressure on Television Networks to not air the ads using tactics similar to that of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi political machine.
Barack Obama has launched an all-out effort to block a Republican billionaire’s efforts to tie him to domestic and foreign terrorists in a wave of negative television ads.
Obama’s campaign has written the Department of Justice demanding a criminal investigation of the “American Issues Project,” the vehicle through which Dallas investor Harold Simmons is financing the advertisements. The Obama campaign — and tens of thousands of supporters — also is pressuring television networks and affiliates to reject the ads. The effort has met with some success: CNN and Fox News are not airing the attacks.
Obama has also launched his own response ad, directly addressing Simmons’ attempt to link him to domestic terror.
The project is “a knowing and willful attempt to violate the strictures of federal election law,” Obama general counsel Bob Bauer wrote to Deputy Assistant Attorney General John Keeney last week in a letter provided to Politico. Bauer argued that by advocating Obama’s defeat, the ad should be subject to the contribution limits of federal campaign law, not the anything-goes regime of issue advocacy.
Bauer’s letter called on the Justice Department to open “an investigation of the American Issues Project; its officers and directors; and its anonymous donors, whoever they may be.”
“This is a sad ploy to circumvent the First Amendment by a campaign who has no arguments with the merits of our ad. It’s the classic maneuver: If you can’t win on the merits, file a lawsuit,” said a spokesman for the American Issues Project, Christian Pinkston, who said his group’s non-profit status allowed it to participate in elections as long as it does a majority of policy work, which it plans to do.
