More information on the two Egyptian students who were arrested in Goose Creek, South Carolina carrying explosive devices in their car.
It’s been reported that the police found ammunition in the vehicle.
From Riel World View:
TAMPA — Bullets were among the items investigators found in the car of two University of South Florida students.
The deputy who pulled over Ahmed Abdellatif Sherif Mohamed and Youssef Samir Megahed, 21, found a box of bullets near the seat, several pipe bombs in the trunk and “other suspicious items,” according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
The men have said they had only fireworks, but deputies found no sign of any commercial fireworks, said Berkeley County Chief Deputy C.W. Henerey.
The MSM has not been reporting much on this story. Apparently stories about Gay Sex in public bathrooms is of more interest to CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and other news outlets then Muslim Terrorists possibly attempting an attack on US soil. Go and figure?!?
From the Tampa Tribune:
Alarm bells started going off for Blakely even before he asked the students any questions, he says. They scrambled to toss a laptop into the back seat. Blakely spotted a box of bullets.
And there were the conflicting stories.
Sheriff’s officials don’t want Blakely to go into details about everything that happened during the traffic stop. They don’t want to mess up the federal case against the students, who have been indicted on charges of transporting explosives. Mohamed faces additional charges of trying to help terrorists by demonstrating how to use explosives.
Blakely does say, however, that Megahed and Mohamed were giving him different accounts of where they were going and where they were coming from.
When the deputy asked them if he could search the car, they consented right away. Blakely looked in the trunk and saw what he thought looked like pipe bombs. Several of them, he says, although he won’t reveal how many. (Bomb experts, one from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and one from the state police, later confirmed that they were pipe bombs.)
Other items in the trunk concerned Blakely. Federal authorities haven’t revealed everything found, but one student’s defense attorney says among the items was a container of gas.
With the trial of the Holy Land Foundation, an Muslim Charity group suspected of providing funds to Islamic Terror Organization and Friends of Jimmy Carter, HAMAS, unindicted co-conspirator CAIR has been suspiciously silent on this incident in South Carolina and Florida.
Once again, I will do my best to keep up on this story. The Jewish High Holidays are quickly approaching and I will be taking a hiatus from my blogging duties during these holy days on the Jewish calendar.
Michelle Malkin has also done a terrific job keeping up on this terror incident.
