Barack Obama’s friend, Detroit, Michigan’s former Thug In Chief Kwame Kilpatrick is to report to Jail on tuesday October 28th to begin his 120 day (6 months) jail sentence for Obstructing Justice and Giving False Testimony in what began as a civil trial initiated by some Detroit Police Officers and eventually turned into criminal investigation and eventually Kilpatrick’s downfall.

From WZZM News:

DETROIT (AP) — Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will not mix with other inmates when he reports to jail on Tuesday.
Wayne County Sheriff Warren Evans said Monday Kilpatrick won’t get special treatment. But because of the ex-mayor’s notoriety, he’ll be kept out of the general population.

Kilpatrick begins a 120-day sentence on Tuesday for obstruction of justice for false testimony in a civil trial involving former police officers.

Kilpatrick will be in his cell 23 hours a day, with one hour out for recreation. The cell is 15 feet by 10 feet with a toilet and shower. There’s no television, but the jail will accept a donated one.
Kilpatrick will be billed for his stay at $60 a day. With good behavior, he could get 20 days cut off his sentence.

Personally, I think they should put his ass in with the rest of the degenrates.  I’m sure it would help Kwame forget about his wife and mistress.  He would probably be a better person for it and come home with some new tattoos , a less anal outlook on life, and an appreciation for little convieniences like Soap on a rope, knee pads, chapstick and vaseline.

  1. Kwame and Obama are NOT “friends.” They happen to be members of the same political party. Nice “impartial” journalism there. Obama specifically requested Kilpatrick not attend the DNC – hardly something a friend would do.
