What else is there to say about this idiot?
Something is telling me that Iranian President Ahamdinejad maybe planning to exploit our “peaceful” transition of power and most likely the weakness of Dear Leader Elect Obama.
From The Astute Blogger:
Iranian newspapers are quoting a top adviser to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as saying the country has converted some of its foreign currency reserves into gold.
The papers published Saturday did not say how much of Iran’s estimated $120 billion in reserves were converted into gold. Iranian officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
The daily Jahan-e-Eghtesad, or Economy World, quoted presidential adviser Mojtaba Hashemi Samareh as saying Ahmadinejad ordered the change.
The decision comes after a dramatic fall in oil prices recently triggered by a global financial crisis. About 80 percent of Iran’s foreign currency revenue comes from oil exports.
This could be seen as sign of a imminent attack against the West. Either way, I trust Ahmadinejad and Obama about as far as I can throw Oprah in her fat years. Granted this is just speculation, it may not be an act of aggresion by Iran, it may simply be the bottom falling out on the dollar, but we must not let anything get by us where Iran is concerned.
Obama has some “Hope & Change” in store for the people of Virginia and Pennsylvania and 25 other states that mine coal here in the United States. He told his elitist friends in San Fransisco that he intends on bankrupting the American Coal industry. Remember, these are the same people he was speaking to when he referred to the People of Pennsylvania as “Bitter people who cling to their guns and religion”.
“Let me sort of describe my overall policy.
What I’ve said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else’s out there.
I was the first to call for a 100% auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter. That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.
That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches.
The only thing I’ve said with respect to coal, I haven’t been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as a ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can.
It’s just that it will bankrupt them.”
Some FACTS about Coal as a source of energy here in the US:
Although 90 percent of the country’s coal reserves are concentrated in 10 states, coal in mined in 27 states and can be found in even more. Montana has the most coal, 25 percent of demonstrated reserves. Wyoming, third among states with the most coal, is first in coal output, accounting for 18 percent of annual production.
U.S. coal reserves contain 12 times as much energy as all the oil in Saudi Arabia! A brief look at some numbers explains why coal is the country’s most abundant and important energy resource.
According to the United States Geological Survey, we have 1.7 trillion tons of identified coal resources — coal for which geological evidence and engineering studies provide reliable information about location, rank, quality, and quantity. (Geologists recognize that more coal deposits are likely to be discovered in the future, so they estimate total coal resources could amount to 4 trillion tons.)
Much of the coal we know about cannot be mined today, because it would be too costly or existing technology doesn’t allow it. It may be too deep, for example, or the quality may not meet current needs. So to be realistic, experts estimate that 472 billion tons of that coal are potentially recoverable. This is called the demonstrated reserve base.
Once again Obama shows as much concern for American Citizens, Industry and Energy Independence as he does for his family. How many more ways is there to say “We’re so fucked” if this guy get elected?
We need to remember also what Joe “Gaffalot” Biden said about coal plants here in the US:
“No new coal plants here in America”
Don’t believe me, just listen for yourself. Words straight from the mouth of an ass:
Nancy Pelosi perhaps provides more hot air, natural gas, and wind then any other person in Congress, yet, the “Queen” of San Fran Freako doesn’t have an ounce of common sense to realize that in order to get to Natural Gas Deposits besides her gaping pie hole is to DRILL!
The Day before the Democratic Convention and the Decent from the heavens of The Obamessiah, Nancy Pelosi had this to say:
I’m, I’m, I’m investing in something I believe in. I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels. … These investments in wind, in solar and biofuels and focus on natural gas, these are the real alternatives.
The botox fossil herself is up to her eyeballs involved with Mr. Wind T. Boone Pickens who is trying to funnel $10 billion in federal and state dollars in federal funds to his Wind Farm idea. Pelosi and her husband would both benefit from No Drilling and the diversion of federal funds of which as we all remember, Congress controls the purse strings and is itself, nothing more then a Fart Factory that we should begin drilling in and tapping this neverending source of fuel. To bad they don’t know how to use all of those natural resources as a form of energy to do something that would benefit the American people as a whole and not just the elitist douchebags.
Citizen of the world and the Messianic Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President, Barack Hussein Obama (PBUH) who preaches the Evils of the “Big Oil” companies like Exxon and all but says that McCain is in the pocket of “Big Oil” has been exposed as lining his own pockets and being the biggest benificiary of campaign funds from the executives of Exxon, Chevron, and British Petroleum (BP).
From The Washington Post:
The Democratic National Committee may be trying to get some mileage out of recent news about oil industry contributions to Republican Sen. John McCain, launching a web site spoofing the idea of McCain sharing his presidential ticket with Exxon. But they may have found an unwelcome surprise in a just-released analysis by the Center for Responsive Politics.
Turns out, the biggest recipient of contributions from Exxon executives and employees during this campaign is not McCain. It’s Obama.
The non-partisan center writes: “Through June, Exxon employees have given Obama $42,100 to McCain’s $35,166. Chevron favors Obama $35,157 to $28,500, and Obama edges out McCain with BP $16,046 vs. $11,500.”
The day the lights went out in congress! Nancy Pelosi would rather Americans pay $5.00 or more a gallon of gas then even try to make America less dependent upon foreign oil made a move that can only be compared to that of a dictator and put an end to debate in the house on drilling for oil off shore and in Alaska.
From the Politico:
House Dems turn out the lights but GOP keeps talking
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the Democrats adjourned the House, turned off the lights and killed the microphones, but Republicans are still on the floor talking gas prices.
Minority Leader John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) and other GOP leaders opposed the motion to adjourn the House, arguing that Pelosi’s refusal to schedule a vote allowing offshore drilling is hurting the American economy. They have refused to leave the floor after the adjournment motion passed at 11:23 a.m., and they are busy bashing Pelosi and her fellow Democrats for leaving town for the August recess.
At one point, the lights went off in the House and the microphones were turned off in the chamber, meaning Republicans were talking in the dark. But as Rep. John Shadegg (R-Ariz..) was speaking, the lights went back on and the microphones were turned on shortly afterward.
But C-SPAN, which has no control over the cameras in the chamber, has stopped broadcasting the House floor, meaning no one was witnessing this except the assembled Republicans, their aides, and one Democrat, Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-Ohio), who has now left.
Only about a half-dozen Republicans were on the floor when this began, but the crowd has grown to about 20, according to Patrick O’Connor.
San Fran Nan (Pelosi) made a censorship move and shut off the C-Span cameras so as to not expose her incompetent leadership.
From Michelle Malkin:
Media Advisory Concerning C-SPAN and GOP House Members’ Post-adjournment Protest on House Floor Friday Afternoon
Washington, D.C. (August 1, 2008) – A number of media organizations have incorrectly referred to “C-SPAN cameras” being turned off and not providing televised coverage of the GOP House members’ post-adjournment protest on energy policy being held on the House floor on Friday afternoon. Please note that cameras in the House chamber are under the control of the Speaker of the House and that all media organizations, including C-SPAN, wishing to cover events in the chamber must use the official House TV feed. No private media cameras are permitted in the House (or Senate) chambers.
Pelosi and the Democrats today proved how corrupt, inept and incompetent they truly are. They have absolutely no interest in the economic well being of Americans. Their interest lies in their Marxist/Socialist agenda and have proven today beyond a shadow of a doubt that they themselves are more in bed with Foreign Oil Producers then the target of their hatred….Bush.
How can you argue with the truth?
Since voting in a DEMOCRAT Pelosi-led Congress
in November, 2006:
1) Consumer confidence plummets
2) Reg gas soars to over $4.00/gal
3) Unemployment up 5%(10% increase)
4) American households seen $2.3 Trillion equity
5) Home equity drop by $1.2 Trillion
6) 1% all homes in foreclosure.
America simply cannot afford the Democrats.
